Ashley Davis Grooms, 35, of 132 Mountain Creek Drive in Ringgold pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine.
Davis, who has been licensed to practice law since 2003, has an office in downtown Ringgold.
Davis and her then-husband Sean Grooms were arrested in May after police found cocaine and methamphetamine in their residence.
According to Lookout Mountain assistant district attorney Alan Norton, Davis will avoid jail time following Monday's plea-bargain.
"Mrs. Grooms pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine, with the other charges from the incident dismissed," Norton said. "She was sentenced to three years probation and a fine."
Norton said Davis will have to submit to a drug rehabilitation program.
Davis was represented by attorneys Chris Townley and Steve Miller.
Sean Grooms entered a guilty plea on Thursday, Sept 27, to the charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Grooms has been in jail since the May incident, which occurred while he was on parole from a previous drug conviction.
