An Aragon man allegedly pinned a teen to the floor of Walmart on Cartersville Highway after he said the teen dropped his pants in front of his young daughter in the store late Friday night, according to a Floyd County Jail report.

According to the report:

Sam Lamar Cannon, 32, of 1655 Bailey Road, was shopping with his wife and five children at Walmart on Friday night. There were four teenagers horse playing in a Christmas display, stringing sewing thread back and forth through the aisles.

Cannon told police he saw one of the teens, a male, drop his pants in front of his daughter. Cannon walked to customer service to make a formal complaint to an employee. After Cannon made the complaint, the employee told police she followed him because she was afraid he might do something to the teen.

Cannon allegedly walked up to the teen boy, hooked his leg behind the teen’s leg, put his arm around his neck and took him down to the floor. The employee told him to stop.

The teen’s sister, also a teen, jumped on Cannon and was hitting him, and Cannon shoved her off of him. He later told police he didn’t know who was on his back.

Cannon was charged with simple battery.
