Bomb threat called in to Summerville Mohawk plant

A bomb threat was called in to the Mohawk Industries plant in Summerville at approximately 2:40 p.m. Sunday, according to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office.

According to reports, the incident was still under investigation Sunday evening and plant managers were cooperating with authorities to try and find out who made the threat.

Reports stated that the plant was evacuated for a time for the safety of the employees.
