The Buffalo Bills may not have had a great day on the field Sunday in San Francisco, but former Darlington standout and Florida State All-American punter Shawn Powell did.

In the Bills 45-3 loss to the 49ers, Powell punted six times with an average of 47.7 per punt. Powell’s longest punt of the day went 59 yards. He had one touchback and landed two punts inside the 20-yard line. Powell’s punt of 59 yards on Sunday set a career long for him. His longest previous punt was 54 yards, which he set against the New England Patriots in his pro debut.

The Bills (2-3) will travel to Arizona on Sunday to take on the Cardinals at 4:05 p.m.
