Materials are gathered Tuesday to begin resurfacing the track at Barron Stadium. Baynon Sports Surfacing, the company that originally laid the track surface, will complete the renovations. According to previous reports, a new top layer is planned because the surface was deteriorating. The new layer is expected to take four to six weeks.
