Southern Paranormal Investigators has partnered with the Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau to offer two individuals the chance to become a ghost hunter for one night.

Two lucky people will be active participants in a paranormal investigation at an undisclosed historic location in Rome, Ga. on Saturday night. A random drawing will be held at the Haunted On Broad: Haunted History and Ghost Lore tours on Saturday, October 20.

Haunted on Broad: Haunted History & Ghost Lore brings visitors throughout Downtown Rome to discover the history and lore as told by the Seven Hills Tellers, a local organization of storytellers. The 2012 tours will focus on the back half of the Between the Rivers Historic District, an area once occupied by the original campus of Shorter College. Tours begin at 7:30, 8:00, 8:30 and 9:00 p.m. and leave from the parking lot of Heritage Hall off Glenn Milner Blvd.

All adult attendees of Haunted on Broad are eligible to be included in the drawing at 9pm. The winner will participate in the investigation immediately following the tours.

Admission to the tour is $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Both tours are a moderate to strenuous walk with steep steps and slopes involved. Stories are not intended for young children.
