The public can discover the fun of Rome's three rivers while admiring the beauty of the fall mountain colors the Roman Holiday, Rome's public excursion boat, on Sunday, October 28.

The fall foliage tour will allow patrons to explore the Oostanuala and Coosa Rivers, often called America's most diverse eco-system, while learning about the changing leaves on the banks of the river.

Tickets are $5 for adults and children and leave from the dock located in Heritage Park. The tour will launch at 1:30pm and Brian Roberts will provide commentary on the history of rivers and the ecology of the changing leaves.

The Roman Holiday is a 45-passenger excursion boat owned by the City of Rome and is also available for rental by private groups. Cruise options are unlimited from educational tours to sunset cocktail and dinner parties.

Contact the Rome-Floyd Visitor Center at 706-295-5576 for more information or to purchase tickets.
