The Peach State is a top beer shipper, but not a top beer consumer, according to new data from the Beer Institute.

The organization ranks the states annually by shipment and per capita consumption. See how all the states did here.

Georgia was No. 10 for shipments in 2011 with 5,707,700. But the state was 42nd in its per capita consumption with 25.9 gallons purchased per resident of legal age.
