The department’s Division of Aging Services and area agencies on aging will give one-on-one assistance on Medicare health coverage and the available prescription-drug plans as well as finding whether the government will pay the premiums.

"Specialists in the GeorgiaCares program are trained to provide well-researched, unbiased information about Medicare health insurance coverage, prescription drugs, and Medicare supplements," said Dr.
James J. Bulot, director of aging services. "They can also help consumers discover whether they may be eligible for help in paying for Medicare."
