Report: Woman shoplifted more than $1,000 of jewelry

A Rome woman was arrested Thursday and charged with felony theft by shoplifting, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

Dora Estelle Lance, 65, of 4591 Huffaker Road, is accused of taking costume jewelry valued at approximately $1,066 from Belk department store at Mount Berry Square mall and attempting to leave without paying.

She was released on bond.
