Report: Rome woman stole medication from vehicle

A Rome woman was in jail Monday, Oct. 22, after being accused of taking prescription medication from a vehicle, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

Anna Ruth Pruitt, 18, of 843 Burnett Ferry Road, was arrested and charged with felony entering an automobile and misdemeanor theft by taking after she took three bottles of medication valued at approximately $60 from a vehicle without permission.

Pruitt is also charged with misdemeanor probation violation and remained in jail Monday night on $11,700 bond.
