Firearms, jewelry stolen from residence

Suspects appeared to have gained entrance to a Lyons Bridge Road property Monday by removing a gate from its hinges and replacing it, according to Floyd County police reports.

According to the report:

Officers responded to a burglary call after the resident discovered a door kicked in.

Taken from the residence were a gold wedding band, a diamond ring, a sawed-off shotgun, a .410-guage shotgun, a 24-inch chainsaw, a 20-inch flatscreen television with remote and a 13-inch flatscreen television with remote.
