“We believe that the new Blended Learning option for First Aid/CPR/AED classes offers our customers with a choice that provides greater value and convenience” said Jeffrey Putnam, Executive Director of American Red Cross of Northwest Georgia. “In addition, we think participants will enjoy the new courses because they are interactive and continue to emphasize hands-on skills practice,” said Putnam. “So when people complete their training, they truly feel confident in their skills to save a life.”
According to a recent Red Cross survey, one of every four people say they have been in a situation where someone needed CPR. “Getting trained in CPR and first aid skills is important for everyone,” said Putnam. “You never know when you might need to respond to an emergency, so the key is to be prepared. No one can help you do that better than the American Red Cross.” To find out how to schedule training, contact the Training Support Center at 1-800-REDCROSS or visit redcross.org/training and register online.
