A man who told police he was homeless is facing several charges after he allegedly tried to break into an Alabama Highway restaurant on Wednesday night, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Ricky Dale Brewer, 50, was charged with felony second-degree damage to property, misdemeanor criminal trespass and felony burglary.

He is accused of doing more than $1,500 in damage when trying to break into Paul’s Oyster Bar, 2901 Alabama Highway.
