A man faces charges of felony criminal attempt to commit rape and misdemeanor sexual battery after he was arrested Thursday, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

Barry Curtis Hardigree, 49, of 4 Loveless St., touched the victim’s breasts and attempted to force her to have intercourse with him against her will while at the accuser’s residence on Oct. 10.

Hardigree remains in jail without bond.
