Lindale man accused of child molestation

A Lindale man allegedly performed immoral and indecent acts in the presence of or upon a male younger than 16 during a four-year period, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

Harry Franklin Bailey, 51, of 149 Mark Groves Road, was charged with felony child molestation according to a warrant that was served Thursday.

Bailey is accused of having a number of encounters of a sexual nature with the minor between Jan. 1, 2007 ,and Dec. 31, 2010, in a field on Abrams Road in southern Floyd County.

Bailey was taken into custody and remains in jail without bond.
