A Rome man was arrested Saturday for allegedly possessing a variety of controlled substances not in their original container at the intersection of Hooper Avenue and Old Lindale Road, according to a Floyd County Jail report.

According to the report:

Jerry Wayne Easterwood, 46, of 1108 Lovell Road, allegedly had 11 green barrel-shaped pills and four white circular pills inside the glove box of his vehicle.

He was charged with two felony counts of possession of controlled substances, misdemeanor drugs not in their original container and having an obscured tag.
