The National Weather Service is calling for a sunny day with a high near 62 degrees and wind gusts as fast as 25 mph today in the Floyd County area.

Trick-or-treaters will be happy to learn clear skies are expected throughout the evening, but they may need a coat over their costumes as the temperature is expected to drop after sunset. The overnight low is expected to reach 30 degrees.

Visit the National Weather Service for more detail and a complete forecast.
