Jack Knight has opened The Car Store at 1321 Martha Berry Boulevard.

Knight has been joined by another veteran local car salesman, Chris Whittle, who was with Knight at the Nissan store for a dozen years and was most recently at the Toyota store before rejoining Knight.

“We are a full service center here. We work on the cars and give the customers a discount on all parts and services including the first oil change free,” Knight said. We offer a three-day guarantee on any car somebody buys. If they don’t like it they can bring it back within three days and swap it out for another one.”

“We’re going to start with probably between 40 and 50 cars, a little of everything,” said Knight. “We’ll offer everything from conventional financing to sub-prime financing.”

Knight’s wife, Nancy Knight, is a partner in The Garage, located on the same property. “The front half of the building was empty so since she was paying rent anyway, I thought I’d open up again,” Jack Knight said. He has operated a lot in Cedartown for the past six years and it will remain open.

The Car Store will be open Monday though Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. “Or just whenever, there’s really no closing time in this business,” Knight said.
