According to Rome police reports:
The resident of a home in the 300 block of Burnett Ferry Road reported that she had been away from the home for several hours Monday morning. When she returned home around 1:20 p.m., she discovered that a laptop computer had been stolen. Police did not place a value on the computer.
Officers did notice tire marks in the dirt behind the home.
