INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana supporters of Mitt Romney are citing a wide variety of reasons.

Thirty-four-year-old Indianapolis software salesman Joe Reece was waiting in line to vote when the polls opened Tuesday morning. He says the Republican nominee has the background and acumen to boost the nation's weak economy.

Seventy-nine-year-old retired police officer Don Weber of Osceola in northern Indiana says Romney "has Christian beliefs, even though he's a Mormon."

Harry Gaunt, an 81-year-old ex-Marine and Indianapolis jeweler, says the top issue this Election Day is religious and economic freedom, and he hopes Romney would do a better job of delivering it.

Sixty-year-old Indianapolis railroad worker Craig Bell, like a majority of Indiana voters, went for Obama four years ago, but he says he doesn't believe the president has done a good job.
