Graves defeated Democratic challenger Danny Grant at the polls Tuesday in north Georgia's 14th District. Unofficial returns showed Graves had 75 percent of the vote with 25 percent of precincts reporting.
Graves first won election in 2010 to fill the unexpired term of Nathan Deal when he left Congress to run for governor. Graves went on to win a full two-year term that same year.
GOP state lawmakers redrew Graves' seat last year to cover the northwest corner of Georgia. The district still strongly favors Republicans.
Grant, an electrician from Fort Oglethorpe, raised little money for the campaign. Graves went into the campaign's final month with more than $182,000 to defend his seat.
