Berry College will host two musical events next week as the symphony and the wind ensemble perform for the public.

On Nov. 12, The Berry College Symphony Orchestra will perform their fall concert in the Ford Auditorium starting at 7:30 p.m.

Directed by visiting assistant professor of music Mirna Ogrizovic-Ciric, the concert will feature well known orchestral literature including major orchestral works and some light favorites.

On Nov. 15, the Berry College Wind Ensemble will be performing the fall semester’s culminating concert which features a blended program of new compositions and older classics. Visiting assistant professor of music Lauren Denney Wright will conduct the concert.

The recital will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Ford Auditorium.

The ensemble is the largest and oldest instrumental group on campus. It offers four concerts during the academic year.

Both events are free and open to the public.
