At the last meeting of the Coosa Valley Carvers Club, members brought Christmas ornaments they had carved to donate to the Charles C. Parker Center for Active Adults.

Fred and Vicky Cronon displayed them on a wreath and hung it at the entrance to the center. The carved ornaments can be purchased by the public with a donation to the center’s fund.

Club members also displayed recent projects they had carved or turned.

The club meets at 7 p.m. each third Thursday of the month at the center located at 1325 Kingston Rd.

Visitors or new members are welcome. Instruction on Woodcarving is available and free. The next meeting will take place Nov. 15. Call H. G. Edmondson at 706-234-3533 for more information.
