The film, directed by Ron McLellen, is set in the sleepy town of Hallowed Hill which must now endure the Dark Lord’s vengeance after an evil force is summoned on All Hallows Eve.
Most of the on-set production of the film was done in Rome. Shooting locations included Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Broad Street, the Floyd County Administration building, the Partridge Restaurant, Old Havana Cigar Co., Georgia Northwestern Technical College and the Claremont House Bed & Breakfast on Second Avenue whose Gothic Victorian architecture provided an ideal location for many of the film’s scenes.
Cave Spring was also a shooting location where the crew shot the film’s Halloween night downtown trick or treat scenes.
The film’s premiere will take place at the DeSoto Theatre on Broad Street on Saturday at 7 p.m. with another screening at 9:45 p.m.
Tickets are $7.50. The film is rated R.
At 6 p.m. there will be a meet-and-greet with some of the film’s stars including Adam Rosenberg of “Teen Wolf,” Sonya Thompson of “The Walking Dead” as well as Josh Haire and Justin Greer of “Vampire Diaries.”
