Berry basketball: Vikings, Lady Vikings to have 35 games on WLAQ

WLAQ AM-1410 will broadcast 35 Berry College basketball games in the 2012-13 season. The games will be heard live on the radio and simulcast on the Internet at http://www.wlaq1410.com/.

Longtime play-by-play announcer Randy Davis will return to call the action. Bob Williams will serve as the color analyst.

"We are delighted to have WLAQ broadcasting our games," said Berry Athletic Director Todd Brooks. "Randy and Bob are significant figures in the Rome sports scene. In addition to knowing sports and the community, they are also genuinely interested in promoting student-athletes and college athletics."
