Stacey Michelle Wade and Michael Dwight Smith were married Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at 3 p.m. at a friend’s private home on Firetower Road in Rome.

The bride is the daughter of the late Freda Payne and the late Micheael Thomas of Dalton.

The groom is the son of Tammy James of Armuchee. The Reverend Ron Gober of Cartersville performed the ceremony.

Cheryl Woernlein was the maid of honor. The bride’s daughters, Cesely and Ally Wade were bridesmaids. The groom’s son Lake Smith was the best man and bride’s sons Joseph and Jacob Wade were the groomsmen.

The bride was given in marriage by her children and escorted by both her sons, Jacob and Joseph Wade.

The couple did their fall decorations and special arrangements.

The bride made their wedding cake and a friend of the bride and groom, Rita Bohannon, made a banana pudding for the groom. The groom made the dinner for their reception.

The couple will reside in Kingston.
