3 facing drug charges

A Silver Creek woman and man, along with a Rome man, were charged late Wednesday after the execution of a warrant at 575 Preacher Smith Road led to the discovery of drugs, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Amanda Brooke Ingram, 34, of 575 Preacher Smith Road, was charged with felony counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, as well as a misdemeanor count of possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Earl Dewayne Mathis, 43, of the same address, was charged with misdemeanor possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Wesley Allen Haynes, 47, of 2515 Black’s Bluff Road, was charged with a felony count of possession of methamphetamine.

Reports stated that Ingram had more methamphetamine than personal use as well as scales, pipes and a .22 caliber handgun. Mathis had the marijuana hidden in his sock and Hayes had a bag of methamphetamine in his pants pocket.

Ingram was released Thursday on a $27,700 bond, Mathis was released on a $1,300 bond and Haynes was released on a $10,100 bond.
