C. Allen Stephens RN, BSN has been promoted to Clinical Manager of Neurosciences at Floyd Medical Center. In his new role he will work to assure that the daily operations of the Neuroscience unit reflect best practices to ensure the best outcomes for spine and stroke care patients.

Prior to coming to Floyd, Stephens worked at the Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation and also served as an adjunct faculty member for the Southern Union School of Nursing, Opelika, Ala. He has spent 22 years working in the hospital environment, 18 of which have been as a registered nurse.

Allen received his master’s of divinity degree at Luther Rice University and his bachelor’s degree in nursing at the Medical College of Georgia. He is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society for nurses.
