Football fans in Georgia will need to plan on having an early lunch -- or perhaps a late one -- if they don't want their plans to interfere with the Georgia vs. Georgia Tech game later this month.

The Nov. 24 in-state rivalry football game will kickoff at high noon, the teams announced on Monday. It will be televised by ESPN.

This Saturday, Georgia hosts Georgia Southern at 1:30 p.m., and Tech hosts Duke in an ACC contest at 3:30 p.m.

Georgia (9-1 overall, 7-1 in the SEC) downed Auburn 38-0 last week to clinch the SEC East title. Tech (5-5, 4-3 ACC) won a wild offensive shootout, posting a 68-50 road win over North Carolina.
