A man who police say seriously injured a man last month is in jail, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Michael Tyron Foster, 39, of 201 Reece St., Rome, was charged with felony counts of aggravated assault, aggravated battery and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony.

He is accused of cutting a man on the face and head on Oct. 27 with intent to murder or cause bodily harm. He remained in jail Monday night without bond.
