If everything remains unchanged with the preliminary final rankings for Class A Public and Private school football, Darlington, Trion and Gordon Lee will all make the playoffs.

While the Georgia High School Association has released the final rankings, they're not set in stone as Class A teams can appeal their rankings if they believe they're incorrect.

The GHSA has divided Class A into a public and private school division for some sports and uses a power ranking system to determine playoff teams.

If everything remains as it is now, Darlington, which is seeded sixth, is scheduled to play host to George Walton Academy on Friday, November 23. The winner of that game will play the winner of the Walker/Athens Christian game.

Walker won the Region 6A title this season. Although they're in the same region, Darlington and Walker didn't play because they're in different subregions.

In the public school brackets, Trion, which is seeded 11th, is scheduled to play at Marion County on Friday, Nov. 23 and Gordon Lee, which is seeded 14th, is scheduled to play at Emmanuel County Institute on Friday, Nov. 23.

Winning teams will advance to play in the quarterfinals on Friday, Nov. 30.
