Security images of two suspects in a Bartow County home invasion were recovered in Acworth.

According to the Bartow County Sheriff's Office:

The sheriff's office is seeking assistance in identifying the two people and recovered some property relating to the home invasion in a trash can at an Acworth convenience store. These photos are the suspects of the home invasion dumping the items into the trash can on Wednesday.

Investigators are seeking the black car in the photos that enters on the top left of the photos. The store is the Shell station located on Highway 92 at Interstate 75.

Bartow County Investigators are seeking help from anyone who may have seen this vehicle or knows anything about the two suspects involved - a black male and a white female. Information uncovered during this investigation shows that the suspects specifically targeted the victim in the case, and it is not considered to be a random incident.

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call the Bartow County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division at 770-382-5050 extension 6029.

A woman and infant are unharmed after a man and woman made their way into a home in Cartersville on Wednesday afternoon and stole several items.

According to the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office:

A black man and a white woman dressed in all black with “POLICE” in big letters on their shirts knocked on the door of a Cottage Walk residence sometime before 2 p.m.

The pair tied the woman who was home with zip ties and proceeded to steal a number of unidentified items. Deputies also discovered that a shot had been fired inside the residence during the invasion.

Authorities reported that the woman was visibly shaken, but both her and her child were unharmed.

Investigators are continuing to work several leads according to Sheriff Clark Millsap. Anyone with information regariding the incident is asked to call the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office at 770-382-5050, ext. 6030.
