Model High School seniors collected more than 3,500 cans which were recycled on Nov. 17 in a contest sponsored by the Ball Can plant of Rome and Newell Recycling. The top five recyclers each received a $2,000 college scholarship check from Ball, in addition to the money they got for their cans from Newell.
