EMERSON, Ga. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of a bicyclist who was struck by a charter bus along U.S. Highway 41 in Emerson.

Bartow County Fire Battalion Chief Sandy Turner identified the man as 31-year-old Andrew Quin Pray of Dallas, Ga.

Turner said Pray died Wednesday afternoon after being struck by the bus as he rode his bike northbound along the highway south of Red Top Mountain.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (http://bit.ly/XDuidA) that Pray was a worship pastor at West Ridge Church in Dallas, where he led the band and often sang alongside his wife.

Emerson is about 35 miles northwest of Atlanta.
