Gordon County authorities expect additional arrests following a meth bust that netted more than $75,000 worth of processed methamphetamines and cash earlier this month, The Calhoun Times reported.

“This is an ongoing investigation, and I expect additional arrests and indictments in this case before we’re through,” said Sheriff Mitch Ralston.

Sammy Cronan, 57, and Dennis D. Glover, 59, have been arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and possession of methamphetamine.

Both Cronan and Glover have addresses listed in the Ranger community, and were arrested following execution of a search warrant by the Gordon County Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit on Friday, Nov. 9.

Detectives seized more than $75,000 worth of processed methamphetamine, cash and a pistol in the search of Cronan and Glover’s residences.

Glover faces additional parole violation charges, and remains in the county Jail without bond. Cronan subsequently appeared in Superior Court and was released on a $75,000 property bond.
