Joe Roper recently graduated from the U.S. Marines boot camp at Parris Island, S.C. Roper is a 2012 graduate of Armuchee High School, the son of Benny Roper and the grandson of Ann Roper. A member of Floyd Springs Baptist Church, Roper has been assigned to Camp Lejeune, N.C.
