Police on KSU campus for 'a possible situation'

Members of the Kennesaw Police Department will be "around our campus and in the hallways all day today" after school officials learned of Twitter posts referencing "a possible situation" at Kennesaw Mountain High, according to a message on the school's website.

"We have taken these statements very seriously and are working with law enforcement authorities to take all precautions necessary to try to ensure the safety of all students," Kennesaw Mountain said in the online statement. "When we heard rumors yesterday that some students might be involved in the situation mentioned on Twitter, we addressed the students and their parents then to try to prevent anything from happening."
