Bernard and Carolyn Bridges
The couple married Nov. 21, 1962 at Trinity Methodist Church by Rev. Charles Shaw.
They met on Thanksgiving day, 1960, on a blind date.
Mrs. Bridges is the former Carolyn Busby. She was a floral designer, caterer and did many weddings for 35 years, retiring in 2008.
Mr. Bridges retired from Coosa Baking in 1999. After retirement he discovered a love for woodworking, gun stocks, etc.
They have been members of Wesley Methodist Church for 39 years, both being very active serving the Lord.
