SEC Championship: UGA falls to Alabama, 32-28

A Georgia drive that started with just over a minute left to play ended on Alabama's 5-yard line as Aaron Murray hit Chris Conley on a 3-yard pass, coming up just short of the end zone as time expired. The Tide came away with a 32-28 win.

With 3:15 minutes left AJ McCarron hit Amari Cooper on a 45-yard touchdown pass to give Alabama a 32-28 lead against the Bulldogs.

Todd Gurley rushed for his second touchdown of the day with 12:54 left in the game when he scored on a 10-yard run, giving the Bulldogs a slim 28-25 lead.

Eddie Lacy gave Alabama the lead on a 1-yard run with 14:57 left in the fourth quarter to take a 25-21 lead.

With 4:19 left in the third quarter, T.J. Yeldon scored on a 10-yard run to cut UGA's lead to 21-18.

Georgia's Cade Foster blocked a field goal attempt by Alabama and Alec Ogletree returned it 50 yards for a score and a 21-10 lead.

Georgia running back Todd Gurley scored on a 3-yard run with 12:09 left in the third quarter to take a 14-10 lead in the second half.

Alabama kicker Jeremy Shelley hit a 22-yard field goal as time expired to give Alabama a 10-7 lead going into the second half.

Alabama tied the game 7-7 when Eddie Lacy scored on a 41-yard rush with just under two minutes left to play in the first half.

UGA quarterback Aaron Murray hit Jay Rome on a 19-yard pass to take a 7-0 lead in the second quarter.
