A Rome man was arrested on a warrant charging him with misdemeanor battery for an incident that allegedly occurred at a location in the Big Texas Valley northwest of Rome on Nov. 20.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Thomas Steven Clemons, 54, of 313 Ashland Park Blvd., allegedly went to a home on Big Texas Valley Road and got into an argument with the victim.

The victim told police that he thought Clemons had left but discovered that Clemons had ridden around the house on a motorcycle and drove right into the victim, causing the man to sustain a head and knee injury.

Clemons was charged with misdemeanor battery, driving on a suspended or revoked license and no brake light.

Clemons was released from jail Saturday evening on $3,388 bond.
