Dalton police respond to bank robbery call

Dalton Police have responded to a bank robbery call at Regions Bank on Thornton Avenue.

Police believe the suspect, a black male, may have run into a room at the Downtown Motor Inn. Multiple law enforcement agencies are on the scene.

The suspect is believed to be 5'5" to 5'7" and was wearing a black University of Georgia jacket and red UGA pajama pants.

No one was injured during the robbery.
