Rome man charged with child molestation

Police arrested a Rome man Monday who allegedly performed immoral and indecent acts with a child, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

Grover Anthony Haggard, 40, of 1298 Turner Bend Road, Rome, was charged with felony child molestation after he fondled a juvenile girl between Oct. 8 and Oct. 12.

He remained in jail Monday night without bond.
