The musical takes a funny, heartwarming and often poignant look at the struggle to find the spirit of the holidays amid the avalanche of commercialism, stress and chaos that crashes down each December.
The show is based on the books by Robert Fulghum, author of “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten.”
The play is also a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Santa will be available for photographs at no extra charge. The play is family-friendly, but more suited to older children.
“Uh Oh, Here Comes Christmas,” runs today, Saturday and Sunday at the E. H. Young Theatre on the Berry campus. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday, with two matinee performances at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Admission is free with any monetary donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
