A student at the Rome Transitional Academy was charged with marijuana possession Wednesday after he allegedly brought it to school, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

Tiaunt Quardarious Orr, 17, of 131 Dodd Blvd., Apt. H-6, was found with marijuana at the Spider Webb Drive facility Wednesday morning. He said he brought it to give to someone else at the school.

Orr was charged with misdemeanor possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and felony possession of marijuana on public school property.

He remained in jail Wednesday night without bond.
