Police: Man brought property stolen in Alabama into Georgia

Police have arrested a Boaz, Ala. man on theft charges after he allegedly brought stolen property from Alabama into Georgia in June, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Michael Chad Stevens, 31, of 3085 Lawson Gap Road, Ala. brought a lawnmower stolen from Cherokee County, Ala., to a Bowman Road location on June 1 and a Polaris Razor stolen from Fort Payne, Ala. to the same location on June 30.

He is charged with two counts of felony theft by bringing stolen property into the state and two counts of felony theft by receiving stolen property.
