According to the report:
Jacob Baxter Williams, 26, of 108 Avenue C, Lindale, was confronted by officers at the corner of Wilson Avenue and Grover Street in South Rome when they noticed the car he had been seen driving was facing the wrong way on the side of the road.
The officers checked his information and learned that his license was suspended. After Williams consented to a search, officers also found suspected hydrocodone, which was not in the original container.
And marijuana was found on his person when he arrived at the Floyd County Jail.
Williams was charged with felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and misdemeanor counts of drugs not in the original container, driving while license suspended or revoked, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, driving on the wrong side of the road and possession of drugs across a guard line.
He remained in jail Sunday night without bond on the charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drugs across a guard line.
