Floyd County Deputy Coroner Ernie Studard confirmed one person was killed in a wreck on Abrams Road late Saturday night.
A radio operator at the Georgia State Patrol communications center said troopers were investigating the one-vehicle wreck that occurred at about 9:45 p.m. but had no further details.
Early reports indicated that a vehicle hit a tree.
