A truck was discovered on fire early Monday morning on the property of Jones Garage, according to Rome police reports.

According to the report:

Officers arrived at the business at 1005 Calhoun Ave., to find a 1987 GMC truck on fire inside the fence of the property.

After the Rome-Floyd Fire Department doused the fire, officers found a 2000 Volvo tractor truck on the property spray painted with “I got you” and profanity on the passenger side.

They also observed more profanity spray painted on the roll-up door on the back of the building. They also found two cans of spray paint.

Detectives were called to the scene and there were no suspects at the time of the report.
