The groom-elect is the son of Christine and David Abernethy, also of Canton.
Megan attends Berry College and will be graduating Summa Cum Laude in May 2013.
She will pursue a career in Early Childhood Education.
Justin is employed at Home Depot in Woodstock. The wedding ceremony will be held at Frost Chapel on Berry College’s campus on June 29, 2013.
A reception is planned to follow at the Rome Civic Center. Formal invitations will be sent. The couple plans to reside in Canton.
